I took a 1 day tour to this place. The views from the bridges are amazing and the trails are very well kept. A really nice place to visit and enjoy nature.
We did the hanging bridges without a guide. Very impressive views (see photos). The staff at the reception is nice and friendly. The price is acceptable, for a tour without guide it is not cheap, but the views on the forest compensate it somehow.
The first time I went ziplining. The guides were very good at explaining everything and they were reassuring. Relax and enjoy the view. It's over pretty quickly although there are 7 lines. The longest takes only about 45 seconds. We had great weather clear skies. Just 2 of us with 2 others. No waiting.
Highly recommend. Very professionally run, very fun! Dress in plenty of layers to stay warm ziplining.
We spent an incredibly lovely day here. We started with the sky walk, which was very informational and very pretty, and the hanging bridges offer a small opportunity for a bit of adventure. Our guide was very well informed about the local wildlife, and he did a great job pointing out all kinds of flora and fauna to us. After the walk, we did the ziplines, which actually didn't really live up to the hype. They were fun, and the initial slide into open air is a bit disconcerting, but none of it was as terrifying or as adrenaline inducing as it was hyped up to be. Still not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but I had fun, which in the end is what matters.
Tips for other people going: wear pants and bring long sleeves. We went in early February, and it wasn't a particularly cold day, but the wind was biting. Bring a wind breaker if you can. Also, pay attention to hotel shuttle times if that's your transportation. We just barely missed the shuttle because we didn't pay attention to what time we needed to be back, dawdled at the end of the ziplines, and had to wait an extra hour for the next shuttle.
We did the tree climbing and it was an awesome experience. We had our own guide and there are 7 trees to climb. Some are a little easier and some are a little harder but my 7 and 9 year old loved it even if they couldn't make it to the top! Elvis, your awesome!
This place is super fun, the adrenaline is very intense. I think this is one of the longest and tallest zip lines in the country. The staff is super nice and they will make you feel very safe even if it is your first time zip lining. The prices aren't bad and if you are able to drive there by yourself you will save a lot of time and also you can visit places around this that are really nice. A really nice experience to have with friends, family or alone!
Great time with friends there today. The staff is fantastic and the guide we had for sky walk was very instructive and knowledgeable. I recommend to anyone who want to get in touch with nature and wish to learn something.
We had a great experience. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful as well as a lot of fun. We felt good about the safety measures in place as well.
This place is awesome, the guides are pros and they spend the necessary time with the group. The experience walking in the middle of the forest is excellent.
The adventure staff are great! We only had time for the Sky Tram (way better than the Arenal Sky Tram) and the Sky Walk. The cloud forest is too beautiful to pass up and the Sky Adventure facilities are superb!
We did the zip line tour, tram, and hanging bridges. The zip line tour was great but I wish we had stopped there. The tram was about 40$ a person and it lasted about 10-15 minutes. Cool views but not worth it for the money at all. I would have payed 10$ at the most for that. We asked the person that we bought tickets from if they had any night tours and they advised us to do the hanging bridges at night. So we spent the extra 15-20$ per person for the guided tour because from what we'd seen so far the guides in CR could spot a butterfly from a mile away and could tell us some interesting facts about plants. Also, the guides were supposed to be bilingual. The guide we got was very nice but we could tell she was pushed into this guide and that was not her job. She couldn't speak English , she didn't want to stop and tell us about anything plant or animal, she didn't have eXtra flashlights to give us, and communicating with her was extremely difficult. The highlight of my little brothers trip was supposed to be this night walk where he was hoping to see all the nocturnal animals. All we saw was a black swan (that we spotted), a milliped, and the reflective glare of a flashlight on kinjajoo eyes. And we understand, this tour was not meant to see animals so that wasn't totally the tour guides fault that we didn't see anything. What was annoying is that she was not a tour guide. She was an expensive walking companion that read us informative signs that we were capable of reading ourselves. With a group of 5 taking this tour, we waisted about 100$ having her useless self with us.
Wow, wow, wow! What a great day.
We did the three-part package which included a guided walk and hanging bridges, the Sky Tram up and the zip-lines down.
It was quiet during our visit, so it was just the two of us - which was really excellent and meant the zip-lining down was super fast with no hanging about.
Safety was top priority here, and I was able to Go-Pro my own footage the whole way down.
Comes highly recommended.
We started with the hanging bridges and had a great time! Saw howler monkeys and the famous Quetzal bird! Our guide was very knowledgable and friendly. Then we went and did the zip lining, which was amazing!! the guides were very helpful and had great sense of humor, they made everyone feel very comfortable and safe! We went in and out of clouds with an amazing view, Highly recommend!
Very safe and nice staff. Not sure its worth it to go all the way to Monteverde just for this when you could do it elsewhere
Had a lot of fun here with the kids. Be ready for the hard sell of pictures after the sixth line, it's super cheesy, The kids on the line are charismatic and nice.
The cloud forest is just amazing and the bridges are so high and the view magnificent. .. the tram is very cool to no animals though
We had a great experience here with our guide Andre who was extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna not only in the park but in Costa Rica as a whole. Re views from the hanging bridges are amazing. We spotted a sloth, hummingbird, monkey, tarantula, many medicinal plants,
Our guide, Jorge, was amazing. He was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.
The sky walk is not really that strenuous and there is ample stopping time to look at things.
This walk is fine if there's a little rain and you have a raincoat, but heavy rain would make this pretty unpleasant.
