Stayed for a total of three nights. The property is huge. It has three pools, a jungle walk area, an outdoor yoga studio, and events every day off the week. It felt like a community. The reception was really knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations for the area as well. Only minor negative was ants in the room but I've seen them at every place in Costa Rica.
My wife and I stayed at a private room and I though it was way too pricey for what it was. It was a small and very dark room since there were no usable windows available. You chad to keep the lights all at all times to have any light. Shared bathrooms were totally outside so every single time you needed to shower or use a bathroom, you needed to put your pants on :) Bathroom door did not lock and shower water would either take 5-10 to turn hot or that would simply not happen that day. The good: food was great: breakfasts were super cheap (~$6 for 2 people) and delicious, even lunches and dinners were affordable and good. I wish they had more options because after 3 days you're out of new things to try. If you're American, don't got for their burger even if they suggest as the best item on the menu. They have no idea how to make a good burger and they should not try since they have so many other much better and healthier options that are a million times better. The staff was super nice and helpful. The beach is quite far, I wouldn't want to walk a steep hill on the way back and have no idea how people take the surfboards to that beach. I email the hotel that question and never received an explanation. Would rather rent another one on the beach and not carry it up the hill. The vibe was great, i so both young and much older people enjoying the place together. It was loud sometimes, but you could easily find calmer spots since the area is so big and has 3 pools. There were a ton of monkeys running around one day- wonderful place if you love wildlife.
Huge place with cool architecture, a lot of activities available, quite clean, with a/c and wifi.
Staff is quite nice.
Place might be a little noisy at nights and price performance ratio is rather poor
Very nice experience staying here. This Selina is huge, it has 3 different pools, very nice environment in the one with the bar. The food was really good, I liked the option of paying breakfast base on the weight. Night life was great, many people, nice music, good drinks and good party. The room could be better based on we paid over $100, but the rest of the experience compensate that.
Wow I love this place, so much so that I'm going back to lead a yoga retreat on their property in May. Selina has created a beautiful, arty and truly magical place. Perched on the edge of the national park, the wildlife is in abundance from monkeys to parrots to sloths oh my. The rooms are clean and well decorated, the staff friendly, heloful, and not that it matters but gorgeous! I cant speak highly enough of Selina.
Super fun place! Be sure to go up on the balcony and see the jungle during the day. The showers have moldy walls but the floors are clean and the showers are big and you don't go near the walls. It's a hostel, what do you expect? I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Nice place for stay, nice party nights. Awesome views
Such a cool place, great mojitos. Fun vibe and hip atmosphere. The wifi is super speedy, and there are lots of nooks available to do work or get inspired. The food is delicious too! Party place and open late, with lots of young people and frequent events. Go here if you want to have a good time. They also have art workshops, yoga, vintage clothing markets and various events/goings-on during the day. There's a calendar/schedule by the entrance where you can view the events for the week. The food is delicious but not as cheap as you'd think it would be for a hostel. Definitely delicious and creative though.
Gorgeous hostel built into the side of the hill. One of the best Selinas, in my opinion, with delicious food and a wonderful rooftop chill/yoga area.

If you want luxury, then this is the place for you. There's a bar, some pools, a working space, yoga classes, tv with Netflix I wasn't particularly fond of this place, it does not feel local at all. It has a nice view though!
Another great Selina hostel. This place used to be a resort, but went out of business. Selina bought it and it is just lovely. 3 pools, a good bar, a rooftop sitting area and close to the national park.
There seems to be a lot of different activities going on via the hostel. They also throw parties, meet and greet dinners and yoga. Plenty of stuff to help you fill the day.
Only negative would be the price of the laundry. 1 dollar pr item.
Would stay here again. Private rooms are small, but clean and with aircon and fan.
3 pools, huge property with wild life and perfectly situated high above the town for beautiful landscape views
Nice hostel. beds were comfy in the dorms. Has everything you need
Our friends and I did not stay here but did go to their bar/club at night. Let me say the two men bartenders were beyond rude. We sat their for a long period of time waiting for service and they just had their back towards us. This is the worst service we had in all Manuel Antonio. Finally we had their attention and they said they couldn't mix any drinks only sell us beer. These men were lazy and didn't want to work. We could have easily tipped them good if they were at least friendly. We will never ever go back their again. Those bartenders didn't even know what a Long Island was so they probably shouldn't call themselves bartenders. Skip Selina's and go to hole in the wall bar in the same area we had way funner their.
Fancy fancy fancy. If you want a luxurious place to rest i highly recommend it. Though it's pricey, it's value is well above the price. Just stayed 2 nights since it's expensive but no regrets.
Staff are helpful and also really good looking lol. Views are incredible all the way around.
A cheap bus ride right out front the Quepos, a local town with cheap food and groceries. The hike back along the road is over 6km but good views of the ocean to break it up. Manuel Antonio park is a bus ride away as well and the beaches are serene - hikes and area in front of the park are really dense with development and tourists.
My wife and I stayed for two nights in a 4 person dorm style room. The hostel is beautiful with lots of wildlife, but the facilities could use an upgrade. There were ants in our room, and the worst part was probably the bathroom/shower. Also, the beds are super loud!
The staff here was mostly fantastic. We met some cool other travelers and enjoyed the $5 breakfast brunch. There is a bus that picks you up directly out front and takes you down to Manuel Antionio state park. After about 9PM the bar/reception area gets pretty crazy. Kinda seemed like the local "bro" club.
Overall I would recommend staying here. The location is nice and centralized and there is a store/other restaurants within walking distance.
