This is an exceptional group of people to work with! Phil, the owner, made everything very easy and accommodated us with a few extras we asked for. You won’t meet a nicer crew, Dahli, was our dive master, while Sabrina was the DM for the other group with us. Dahli was amazing! Helpful, patient, and he showed us a great time on our first ocean dive. Five stars and I highly recommend using them if you’re going to be diving in Costa Rica! Thanks again guys, you made it a memorable trip!

SNUBA diving was extremely fun! Mike was very patient with us and helped us remain calm as we were initially hesitant to go below the surface of the water. We saw and swam with a variety of fish species which was awesome. It was truly an exciting experience! If there is one recommendation we could make it would be to have a way for us to monitor our oxygen while we are under water (maybe a device on our wrist or attached to the tubing?) — not sure if something like that exists for Snuba. Even though we were briefed on ways of determining whether our O2 levels were low (i.e. feels like you’re breathing through a straw); it was a little nerve-wracking not having some sort of gauge for us to monitor.

I had the best time with these guys over three days and 6 dives. As a rescue diver I always pay close attention to the crew and guides when diving with them for the first time. Phil and Pablo and Sabrina were first rate professionals. The diving was great with the Giant Mantas, Lots of white tip reef sharks. Puffers, Morays, snakes, Whales. It was amazing. Make sure you take your guides for a beer around the corner on Flamingo Beach. Great job Phil and hope to see you soon when we open the brewery down the street from you.

We went on 4 dives in 2 different days. Everything from snorkeling off of the boat, to Discover Scuba, to certified deep dives. This company was class act! Everyone was happy, smiling, helpful and super professional! There was not a single thing wrong with how they set up our equipment and they were very careful with it! Pablo and Sabrina were amazing dive masters and Phil was the best for all of the communication we had with him from Colorado! I can't say enough how pleased I am with this company. We will always choose Scuba Dive Costa Rica!

Highly recommended !! Because of the great price and incredible staff of instructors, my father and I came back two days later after not having as much luck seeing sharks or rays on our first two tank dive. The second set of dives was unforgettable- sharkes galore, rays, a seahorse, eels, swimming through incredibly huge dense clouds schools of fish. They picked us up and dropped us off from our resort. You can’t go wrong with Phil and his crew!!

This is the most amazing team of divers and instructors that you will ever have the pleasure of meeting! They know the best spots, their gear is really nice, and they’re mindful of your vacation schedule. After 3 days of becoming Open Water Certified, I really began to feel like part of the family. I can’t wait to go back and see them all again!
