Spent a year there in the early 1990's and loved every moment I was there. Close to many things to see, the Rain Forest, Volcanos, Limon, Heredia and San Jose. Gorgeous countryside and the people were so very nice and helpful. I stayed in a real 1839 Adobe Hut. It was amazing.
