If you want to experience wild Costa Rican old growth forest and see the diverse and amazing wildlife within, this is the place. Get up early and hit to trails to watch monkey troops cross the high tree tops. Search the gardens early or late in the day to see the many bird species. Dolphins, sea turtles and great people are just icing on the cake. Get out there!

OH MY LANTA! What a gem! Whatever amazing picture you have of Saladero in your head- it is a million times better! Saladero features the most pure, and beautiful landscape- ocean on one side, and primary rainforest on the other. The wildlife you will see, with amaze you… (to say the least). We learned so much about this part of the world on our stay at Saladero. Susan, Harvey and their guide Stacey are unbelievable. They make you feel like part of the family and offer you so much knowledge about Costa Rica. The staff they have employed are truly special people and they make your stay even more wonderful. We truly can’t say enough good things about Saladero. It is 300% worth the trek to get there. There are tons of activities and outings available, so many things to do to keep busy at Saladero, and even just sitting around you will be continually exposed to new and amazing experiences. It was truly the trip of a lifetime! We will be back!

If you want to meet some of the friendliest people on the planet, that are also helping the planet, this is the place to come. Absolutely beautiful. Hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, wildlife galore, it has everything. Expect to learn a lot too, Harvey, Susan and Ian are all bursting with knowledge to share with you. It's extremely hard to leave, but it's never goodbye, just see you later. Pura Vida!

Es un lugar mágico! Perfecto para ir a relajarce , salir a hacer Kayak, snorkel o padle board o descanzar en una hamaca. El mar es sumamente tranquilo, el paisaje es hermoso y se pueden observar muchas aves. La comida es fabulosa!!!!

An amazing place! Dolphins, Turtles, Kayaking, snorkeling, mangrove, primary and secondary forest, amazing sunsets, lovely people and a lot of hammocks to rest. I do not want to leave!
