Nice litte soda right next to our hotel. Very reasonable prices, large portions, tasty food. We ate there twice - first time the service was very slow, 2nd time was much faster (though we were the only customers both times).
Taxes are included in price (which is not always the case). Make sure you check math in your bill. I would go there again.

Beautifully quaint. Refreshing reasonable price in an otherwise overpriced town. Lovely food and service. I'd eat here every day if I ate anywhere every day. I don't actually even eat every day. Something I need to work on.

I had the chicken casado and it was extremely delcious. They also gave me a free piece of cake afterwards too (they must've seen me eat all my veggies)

Great vibe, decent price. Quick service, but my meal was ready so quickly, that the beef cubes weren't heated all the way through- they were cooled bit not heated in the center.

Overprice，330ml Coca-Cola sell 1300 CRC，and you'll be charge 10% sevice fee，they tell you it's government tax. If you pay in U.S. dollars, the exchange rate is only 550 and they tell you here is not a bank. I feel they want to earn extra money from each customer. Very bad experience. Don't try.

It left me feel cheated. It was all fine and the food was good (meat abit boney) until she drew up the bill which was confusing and we ended up paying close to 200 colones more (even with the 10% service fee). I am not a dumbass tourist you can do this to. I calculated quite well. When I asked about it she was not friendly any more. It is a very small amount, but that is not the point.. you dont do tricks to earn alittle extra per person

Just when I thought the place next door couldn't be beat. This place is even better! Cheaper than soda bonanza and better food imo. I had the Chuleta Casado at both places and this place is better! Portion is big, no guac unfortunately but have cake as desert. Loved it!!

Tasty and inexpensive (for Monteverde) food. One star removed for the weird "service tax" added on top of your bill. I never understand why such can't be included in prices in the menu.

Full of bugs that won't leave you alone. Great and cheap food. 10% tax not included in the prices. A bunch of helpful phrases in Spanish and English translations are listed on the table. Not the friendliest service, but that's okay.

This place is amazing! Good Homemade food, coffee was awesome, you get a little pice of cake at the end! The people that own/work there are super nice! Can't recommend this place more.
