  Nice place to grab a quick bite. Mostly typical Costarrican food served on a banana leaf, but very tasty. The fish entrees are very good. The surroundings desplaying paintings and pictures depicting the Costarrican life of long ago add a touch of nostalgia of a simpler yet wholesome way of living. I know, I lived it. I eat there often, once in a while I order the fish "casados". Tasty and plenty to eat. Free parking, but no alcoholic beverages offered. I recommend it.

  Excelente restaurante de comida tipica. Buenos precios y sirven bastante. Recomendados los casados especiales y el festival de gallos.
  
  Great Costa Rican food restaurant. Fair prices and the amount of food served is good. I recommend "casados" (rice, beans, pork/chicken/meat, salad and picadillo) and "Gallos" Festival (sorted meats and siders with tortilla, similar to mexican tacos)

  Comida muy rica a un precio justo. No es barato pero tampoco caro. Si te gastas 4 mil en un combo chatarra le amistad 1.500 y ya comes bien acá.

  The place feels very traditional but it's expensive for the kinda of food the serve. The food taste good but you could get the same food at a better price in the local market / El lugar se siente muy tradicional pero es caro para el tipo de comida que sirven. La comida sabe bien pero se puede conseguir la misma comida por un mejor precio en el mercado local
