Buen ambiente
We stayed at El Arca for dinner. The staff was friendly but only speaks very little English, so having a few Spanish skills is highly recommended. We had a nice conversation in Spanish with one of the waitresses. Our meals were served quite quickly and tasted good. The drink I had (pineapple water) was not the best (it was more like a non sparkling water with few pineapple pieces inside) but it was okay. The day we were there was a Karaoke evening, so talking to each other wasn't really possible as the music and the Karaoke singers were extremely loud. For having a quick dinner the place is okay but I think for staying the evening there are better places.
This restaurant is now El Arca. Stopped here looking for good local ceviche. Food was good but service was extremely awkward. Locals arrived during our meal and just leered at us with the server/owner without communicating until we felt so uncomfortable we left. Only place we experienced this all week. Recommend the soda at the Coronado crossroads up the street for excellent food and welcoming atmosphere.
Amazing coffee
