Average food, a little pricey, but so is everything in Costa Rica specially the national parks. Nice volcano view.

My girlfriend and I have been in Costa Rica for the past week, and this is by far the best food we have had. Excellent service, generous portions, and life-changing guacamole. I had the steak- tender and juicy- and she had the chicken and rice. Amazing food, definitely do not miss.

If you catch a clear day you have a perfect view of Arenal volacano. Guacamole and steak were very good but overall a little pricey compared to other sodas we went to.

We had an amazing experience and such a warm welcome from Cascajo. Arturo (the chef) prepared a special meal for us (pictured). There was a lot of off the menu dishes including an spectacular presentation on a banana leaf that they went out and cut down fresh. Also Cascajo is a wonderful human being. When our friend got lost on Arenal he lead the search party to find him.
