Loved this place
The trails are so well done and Helen care off
And the forest is just amazing
Awesome place, highly recommended. Not busy at all, and got to see some wonderful wildlife. We didn't visit Santa Elena or Monteverde cloud forests as we didn't have time so cannot compare, but absolutely zero complaints with our visit to curi cancha.
A fantastic nature reserve with good opportunities to see a range of animals and different trees. The walk is not demanding and with well marked paths it's easy to get around. There are plenty of guides who provide tours here, is best if you can find a small group to go with.
We scheduled a guided tour and no one else showed up, so we basically got a private tour. David was incredibly enthusiastic and able to point out some amazing wildlife that we never would have seen ourselves.
Had a great night tour here! It was a windy and rainy January night and no one else showed up for our tour so it was just two of us and our guide. Booked the day before online and we were happy we didn't cancel due to weather. Saw lots of cool stuff!
Really enjoyed our time here, nice hikes, wonderful views, many animals and beautiful birds
As it is the case with all attractions I saw in Costa Rica, it is overpriced. We saw some birds and a mammal, but couldn't see the Quetzal bird we expected to see. The place was well organized and you can get close to a river. Not worth the $15 each we paid for.
Good wildlife and nature viewing. Well maintained park.
It's a really beautiful venue, nice trails and lots of hummingbirds.
Absolutely amazing!!! We had a personal guided tour that made it even better. Saw amazing wild life! Very nicely maintained with nice facilities!
Nice reserve, quite different than monteverde cloud forest. A lot of beautiful ficus trees. Entry fee $10 for students.
Spent a week in June 2017 in Costa Rica, finishing with visiting the reserve and asked for a guide. We had Chris who spoke perfect English and had a wealth of knowledge about everything in this park. The visit took 3 hours between 8:00AM and 11:00AM and we saw plenty birds that we had no idea were there. He first listens to them, then finds them with his binoculars and finally uses his long range scope to spot them and once adjusted is sharing the scope with us. This visit was the highlight of our trip and we are planning to come back at a better time (March-April) to see even more birds!
Many ecosystems. Views, transitions, river, strangler figs, Porter weed with butterfly and hummingbirds, avocados had quetzal. I recommend this, next in line after cloud forest.
Super bonito y tranquilo
