Excellent experience. Truly worth the cost. Learned so much about tropical fruit and plants. Our guides: German and Marco, provided exceptional insight about the agriculture and chocolate making process. Learning how to make the chocolate was a lot of fun. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Osa peninsula.

Rancho Raices was an experience I would recommend to anyone in the area. A guided tour through the property, taught us about all the trees and plantlife. German and his family then welcomed us for a lunch of smoked chicken, yucca, heart of palm salad and fried plaintains. So delicious. We were shown how cocoa was made into chocolate. We even tasted chocolate in its bitter form. This place was awesome!!

Everyone who comes to this part of Costa Rica owes it to themselves to visit here. Dennis is a wonderful representative
Of his country. Chocolate like you've never had before!

We visited today for a cacao tour and it was one of the best tours in our life. Very friendly family with a big garden and a big heart for nature. They showed many plants, trees, fruits and the whole process of making chocolate. Recommend this tour to everyone!
