Avoid the crowds, go early than you than you expected, take your time, water and binoculars or a guide
This is the ‘point of Cahuita’, nice place to go in the water or have a picnic. You can also keep going, the trail wraps around the coast (Puerto Vargas ) 3 -4 km. After that you can walk over 2.3km over some really cool wooden bridges and look at wetlands, lots of monkeys above. I missed the bust but got a ride from some cool Jamaican guy! (underground taxi).
The only free national park in Costa Rica is well worth the trip!!! Swim in the ocean and enjoy Pura Vida.
Increíble, aguas transparentes y calidad. Arrecifes. Gran cantidad de fauna y flora
It's one and half hour of walking from the start point of Cahuita national park. In this point you can catch boat taxi to move to another point. Probably you can find local guide guy who will take you snorkel. It's forbiden to snorkel here without lical guide, so if you wanna do it be prepare with some cash in your pocket (guides in Cahuita ask for 20-30$). You can swim here for free and it's beautiful place to relax ;-)
Parque natural que permite rutas a pie, buceo, etc.. Muy recomendable.
