Great place to enjoy the things to love about CR. I was surprised by the mixed reviews (3.3 stars) because the rooms are very well done and spacious. Having been in CR for 3 months the air conditioner was a nice touch.
If you're visiting CR for the first time, understand it is a developing country. Power and water go out. The hotel probably doesn't like it either. You'll also get to experience the quirkiness of CR by getting charged for things like utilities odd by many standards but VERY Tico! You'll get to tell stories about having a second key for electricity.
Overall my family of 5 LOVED this place. The pool was amazing, as were the little places to walk. We saw about 5 iguanas, 3 other lizards we couldn't place, and some amazing woodpeckers. Guessing we'll see monkeys in the am. Isn't this why you came here in the first place?response / report this review -

Segurity cameras don't work, don't feel like safe place to stay . Sketchy at night!!!

Cozy place to stay away from bustle of Quepos but close enough to enjoy the restaurants and harbor. Clean and attentive to their guests.

Very nice clean Resort it's hidden off the main road but was well worth staying the seven days rent a car and travel and it's a great place to stay to come and go they have lots of beautiful flowering plants

It's okay, but would not recommend it. They really do try to nickle-and-dime their guests e.g. Internet not included, separate bill for utilities, and extra fee for laundry service, just to name a few. It's also out of the way and expensive.

My wife and I loved this place. Off the beaten path near a jungle and some African palm oil plantations which is how much of this region looks. Beautiful! The rooms were clean and very nice.
The pros:
Secluded, quiet, minimal traffic of all sorts, small, plenty of wildlife, clean
Elizabeth and "her boys" were all patient and helpful
Lots of things to due and Elizabeth will help you plan your days with adventures that suit you
Monday orientation is very useful
The Cons:
I am mostly putting this out there in hopes that the powers to be will take note
Inconsistent water pressure/temperature
A/c is kept at a bare minimum, in a day or two u get used to it
Beds are rock hard but clean
Toilets don't flush well
Cookware is old and in need of replacing
2$ for ice?
I awoke to my first morning at daybreak. The first indication is the extremely loud noises that all the local birds make, I thought I was in a magical land. Being said, I never slept passed 6am. Those beautiful sounds were way to alluring.
You will need your passport if you want to exchange at the bank, otherwise you never need it.
I strongly advise you use colones, it helps to avoid any misunderstandings. You can get cash out of ATM's as they have ingles instructions. On the colones thing: the exchange rate was about 560 col to 1$. Everyone rounds it to the average of 10mil col. to 20$, u due the math. Mil is thousand.
I hope this review is helpful. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

It's an older place, but that adds to the charm. Not very busy, private and secluded. It's well maintained for its age, but it's by no means new or modern. If your expecting some swanky place, you will be disappointed. Buy the portable Wi-Fi device rental with your rental car, as you can use it anywhere as well as in the rooms. The Wi-Fi here is $15 a week, but only available in the lobby or pool

The hotel is pretty old and a little run down. Its a little dirty and off the beaten path, its literally in the middle of the jungle which is cool but also has its cons as well. The staff was fairly nice. We didnt hate it but would not stay there again.

Understood the location the place we where going. Enjoyed the people anything that needed to be fixed or corrected was, front desk was always helpfull. Activities were many and very responsible. Get a car and keep track of your money when u are out everything is a charge in all parts of Quepos. Well worth it. Beautiful. Monkey tour right down the road from Condo.
