A small gem in an already beautiful place. Most of the menu is chicken base, from empenadas to a half/whole roasted chickens. Food is absolutely delicious and prices incredible, much more fair than the neighboring, more touristy places (2 meals, 2 drinks for around 10 US dollars). Best of all, the person who owns and runs it is a super nice guy who the locals seem to adore as he waved to nearly everyone who walked by. Highly, highly recommend for at least lunch.

I was so skeptical about this place but was really impressed. Insanely cheap food and it was quite good. The whole place is run by one guy and he really knows what he's doing. I'd recommend.

Cheap and delicious and a good break from all the expensive restaurants around. Can get a decent portion of chicken and side and be able to feed a family for $10.

This place was a perfect break from the expensive food in the sodas of Costa Rica. They gave you a TON of chicken for a really good price and it is so yummy! We came here both days for lunch to eat the sandwich and the pollo asado. Definitely recommend for any traveler on a budget.
