  Pocho's Bar is a great little place to stop when you're exploring the inland roads from Jaco and Playa Hermosa. Pocho is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, and we were able to have almost a 30 minute conversation using my limited highschool spanish and a little Google Translate (btw, the cell service is great here). He pours a hell of a drink, and his drinks are expectedly cheap - even though he poured about a 2.5oz shot and charged me for 1. He also has a few local drinks that he's eager to have you try which was fun. His macaw Rally is awesome as well and bilingual! I definitely recommend making the stop.
