The food here is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. The size of the food is outrageous, and you get way more than what you pay for. Will be going again!

Yummy calzones, and even heard howler monkeys in the distance. Friendly people who run it. Made my afternoon! A little in the middle of nowhere, but worth the trip there.

Best pizza I had in Costa Rica. Two pizza perfect for two people. Great flavour and the staff was very friendly when we picked up the pizza.

A little bit hidden but good sighnposted. Pizza was very good and big! If you are not too hungry one pizza is enough for two. Service war very friendly. For 1 Pizza, 2 Drinks and 1 Ice we payed about 12000 CRC

The best pizza and ice cream I've ever had. After climbing Cerro Chato, we decided to take advice from the owner of a guesthouse we stayed at. It was quite a drive on a dirt road but really heavily posted that it was so easy finding the place! We arrived, it was a family run pizza place, with a lovely friendly waitress! They grow their own vegetables and an older woman made our pizzas. We ordered coconut ice cream and headed upstairs to the seating area. We sat there listening to the sounds, it was so relaxing. Can I just say it was the best ice cream I've ever had. Only reason we got it was to wait for the pizza which we'd take to go. Just wow, all their ice creams are made from scratch and I would pay good money for the recipe! The pizza was fantastic and the woman who cooked it was so wonderful, didn't speak a word of English but that's okay! I know I know, who goes to Costa Rica for pizza? I would again and so should you. It was a beautiful experience and it is clear how hard they work for their wonderful restaurant.

Cool place super nice people"Mama" pointed out a pack of monkeys in the trees nearby fot the kids. Best pizza we had in Costa Rica and the homemade ice cream was delicious. We tried nearly all the flavors within our group of 8.thanks Juan for all the info and great service upstairs open air seating.

It has been over a year since we went to Pizza John's but what a great find it was. I do like Costa Rican food but was really wanting some food from home (USA). The pizza was great-NY style. Reading all the writing from previous visitors was great. There are not many restaurants that can claim such a varied customer base. Loved it and felt right at home.

Amazing Italian food, high quality locally grown herb pizza. Got the special combo pizza ( all ingredients) and it was delicious. Little view of the lake but more importantly the surrounding trees have lots of beautiful yellow tailed birds that fly between trees, nice to watch. Staff is super friendly as well.
