  We stopped here on our way from Rincon de la Vieja to Monteverde. The staff was attentive and food was great! Try the natural dragonfruit juice!!!!!

  Unfortunately they had only two servers at lunch time, their food is good but if you're heading to the airport with limited time don't stop here.

  had the breaded shrimp, steak with onions and tried the plaintains with cheese. Omg this place was great! It also had handmade souvenirs.

  After 8 days in CR this ended up being our favorite. Friendly English speaking staff. Pricing was very reasonable. Food was very good. One of the things we got was the BBQ feast/ sampler which they said was enough for 3, would have be enough for 4.

  Great food. Ate lunch and it was very good. Be sure to get the salsa picante to add some kick to your meal, it's super good. They also have great selection of beer, including a decent Costa Rican IPA.

  Had a lovely meal here with my wife and two sons. Steaks were good--quality cuts of meat and grilled just a few feet from your table. Friendly service. We were there on a Friday night and they had live music in the form of a latin guitarist. I will come back.

  If you're staying nearby to catch a flight then Piso de Tierra is an ideal last stop to get a final taste of Costa Rica. The menu includes plenty of traditional dishes while the actual venue offers a real country feel.
  
  The staff are pleasant and the prices seemed reasonable. We were the only customers at the time so the atmosphere was a bit lacking, but this might have just been bad timing on our part.

  Coffee is good. There is a sign for the coffee they use, "Cafe Naranjo" in front - not to be confused with the restaurant name.
