  Simple cabins located on the mountainside. Most cabins have a truly spectacular view over the often misty valley below. The cabins have hot water and an electric heater (It gets cold at night) but are very dimly lit.
  This Lodge is perfect for bird watching; there's also a lookout tower.
  Early in the morning guided tours are organised to spot the quetzal.
  You can also hike on your own on the well maintained trails of the lodge. They go through the primary rainforest and along interesting points like waterfalls.
  The meals are fresh and tasty but there isn't much choice.
  Staff is extremely friendly and also helpful in providing you information to plan the rest of your trip in Costa Rica.
  
  Public transportation:
  MUSOC buses from San José stop not very far from the lodge. You can ask the lodge staff to pick you up at the bus stop or you can simply walk if you don't have much luggage.
  
  Summary: simple cabins in a beautiful setting. Friendly staff and good food. Excellent for bird watching and hiking. Recommended.
