Given the remote location of this club, it is very well packed and plays very good music.
The drinks were OK and reasonably priced however this really is a spot for your 10th and 11th drink rather than your 1st and 2nd!

I asked for a beer. The bartender went to help 4-5 more people before again asking me what I want. I asked for a beer again. He forgot again. I understand bartenders can be busy but wow. He saw me again and I gave him a general gesture with my hands out, signaling 'and the beer?' HE THEN FLICKED ME OFF. for asking him again, the BARTENDER, for a beer. So then we ask another bartender for the manager. We end up talking to the owner and HE TURNS AROUND AND WALKS AWAY after not even listening what we have to say. They do not care about service, just the next dollar.

My sister and I went on a Wednesday and it was going off! Great music ranging between rnb and reggaeton. The drinks where averagely priced nothing too excessive but not super cheap either.. Over all we had a great night! Make sure to bring some cash on you as cover was 2,000 colones!

This is a greatvplace to spend a night out. A lot of friendly people and a very nice atmosphere. The music is pretty good and ladies night is very fun. Try it out for yourself and when you‘re tired you can go chilla the beach and watch the stars!

Place to be on Thursdays, has a second bar in the back for the busiest nights and they have good restrooms. Service below average.

Okay you have to call this for what it is a Beach bar. No Frills just a fun place. There is just a great feel to this place. The food is unbelievable. I wouldn't knock the service because this is a laid back place where nobody should be in a hurry. The bartender is a grizzly guy who never smiles and looks as if he could eat you, but you get your drinks. Gaze at people, gaze at the ocean..you can always pick up a soccer game behind the bar. The food is unbelievably good. As the day transitions to night, the night crowd is just fun, fun, fun. Get serenaded by Marachi players, dance, and don't forget to wash every thing down with with an Imperial beer, Costa Rica's finest. Right on the beach you can walk over 40 yards of sand right to the waters edge. I love this little city, I love the people. I will be back.

Pacifico was hands down the worst bar in tamarindo. To start, the security guard who is African/bald was extremely unprofessional, racist and out of line. He made an extremely dergeratory comment towards my daughters friend regarding her hijab. The he preceded to pat her down and check her for illegal "weapons" claiming he needed to protect against terroist activity. I have never been so upset and embarrassed. This man needs to be fired immediately. He is an insensitive, (excuse my launguge) dick who is egotistical and inhumane. Once we go inside the bar, the music was boring, the crowd was lame and the bar tender's were slow and made no effort towards their drinks. Please do not go here. Please help this so called "security guard" get fired for his inexcusable actions.

Went to ladies night with my wife. She would finish half her drink and then give me the other half. Drank for free all night. I also danced until my legs fell off (not really lol). Had a great time. Also, played some billiards and Foosball.
