We had the experience of a lifetime. We spent the night in the waterfall cave. The food and guides were amazing. I promise you will love this experience!

    CORRECT DIRECTIONS!!!
Download WAZE for the best way to GPS here in Costa Rica.

Once on the highway to San Isidro.

You will pass a town called Platanillo.

and then you will see a large Catholic white church on the RIGHT,

take the next RIGHT on to dirt road there is a Pacific journeys sign.

Drive for approx 3km you will see blue church to your left,

then you will find a soccer field on your LEFT.

Turn LEFT at the end of the soccer field.

Our office is the second house on the right with a black gate.

Ok, not so much the place but google maps sent me dead end roads consistently. No once or twice but 5 times. If you are going to drive around CR use waze

This was a beautiful experience the whole way through. We learned all about the local plants and medicinal uses, as well as local animals. The guides were all amazing - friendly and knowledgeable! We visited multiple sets of waterfalls, one which you could jump off in a very private serene area, the main ones where you camp and the Diamanté falls where you can watch the sunset (you’re at the top of the falls). The hike itself was quite a few stairs up - be prepared for a bit of work! Definitely stay the night if you can. You’ll be well taken care of and it’s a very unique experience!

Easily one of the coolest things to do in Costa Rica. Hike is undescribable as you head from below the clouds, through them and above. Was kind of like being in a dream. Stay overnight there in the cave if you go it's worth it, there is an area below the falls with glow in the dark worms all over the rocks. Think movie Avatar meets Fern Gully. Amazing.

Overpriced. Underwhelmed by waterfalls. Cannot see largest one.
