Paid Steven $20 for a surf lesson and 2 hrs rental. With limited English he told me the basics and stayed out there for two hours with me. Super friendly dude, but don't expect too much more than getting you started. Waves break early and it seems like a good place to begin. Water was mas caliente when we were there a few days ago- probably 100 degrees for the first few inches then cooled off to like 75 or 80 as you get deeper. Nice non-crowded beach with lots of iguanas and showers included in $6 entrance fee. Sweet tree house in a banyan tree at the entrance.
