Clean, large mall with friendly staff, most of whom speak English exceedingly well. Prices are no different than in much of North America though, so no savings, but great if you need something. Has some lovely shops.

My visit to Universal was shocking. Wanted to buy a TV but employees were not helpful. Most were standing around talking to each other. Needed the TV box to be tied with a string to make it easier to handle. Employees would not accommodate me and I left without a purchase.

Nearly every store in this mall has employees who speak English.

This mall was the first American style shopping mall to open in Costa Rica.

Beautiful Mall. Well done. I have lived in Costa Rica since 1992. For many years this was the ONLY mall in Costa Rica and our family would greatly enjoy our weekly, weekend visits.

Now we have many beautiful malls. But Multiplaza Escazu has been updated and remodeled over the years and continues to hold it's place as one of the nicest malls in the country.

Probably the best mall I've ever visited besides King of Prussia. This can rival any mall and has anything any traveler would ever need. Plus the food court offers an abundance of options and the grocery store suits all wants and "beverage" needs to the fullest for a pretty good price.

Great mall where you can find a store for basically everything. People are very friendly, a lot of young employees so English wasn't a problem. The movie theater even shows some English movies which was great. It's an upscale mall, kind of expensive, prices are similar to regular US stores (this is not an outlet)

Very lovely mall. Many high-end stores with the same merchandise you will find in Europe or the USA. At least they have shorts and bathing suits in December! There were security personnel absolutely everywhere. Everyone seemed happy and satisfied with their purchases.

This mall was really advanced in comparison for the rest of the country’s infrastructure. It was really pretty and safe. There are a lot of different shops and places to eat. I was impressed with the size of the place and how well maintained it was. The prices are a bit expensive (but it could have been the exchange rate) so I didn’t really purchase much but I would come back!

Multiplaza in Escazu Costa Rica is the most beautiful shopping mall I have ever seen or visited in my life. It is so huge it takes up so many blocks it could be it's on Village. There are so many designer stores, eateries, toy stores, gift shops and a. Cinema theater. I love the parking in the mall on the outside of the wings that you can walk to after you are finished shopping. There are the specialty stores for chocolates and gourmet ice cream, the Cafes and restaurants are beautiful. It's very modernistic and an amazing MultiPlaza shopping mall. I must return soon.

Now we have many beautiful malls. But this one has been updated and remodeled over the years and continues to hold it's place close to the top.

Also unique. This mall has the most English speaking customers. So the stores are very English friendly.

You can find good stores, a supermarket, some restaurants and a small food court, banks, movie theaters and others. Despite it has a big parking place sometimes is very hard to find a place. In general is a good place to go shopping and have a good time.

Nice place, awful prices though But Costa Rica as a country is far from a shopping paradise. Oh, they charge for parking. So, not only do they have very high prices, they charge you even if you're buying or going to the movies. That seems to be the trend in CAR, where malls charge for parking About $1 per hour

Excellent place in which you will find many places that you can communicate in English, already for the purchase of appliances and clothing, extensive food court area, multiple alternatives for currency exchange and payment of services, has its own supermarket

Excellent place to shop. There is a lot of options from groceries to native art. The amount of restaurants locates at the mall is reasonable and offer you a varaety of options.

A pretty good Mall with some top end restaurants. The stores for the most part are high-end and pretty pricey. It was the first big mall in Costa Rica and after quite a few additions has managed to stay at the very top. Parking isn't the easiest but except during the holiday season is definitely adequate.

As far as malls go, this one is pretty good. Huge selection of stores and food options. But they still have the typical parking issues.

One of the biggest malls in Costa Rica, they have a multitude of specialty shops, cafés, some restaurants, a movie theater and food court. The stores in the mall tend to be pretty pricey but are of good quality and tend to be items from the US. The restaurants are alright in my opinion and are nothing amazing but non the less still good food. The movie theater is modernized and usually has the most recent films that come out the same release date as the US. The parking can be a troublesome on certain days or when they have special events and tends to be packed. Overall going to this mall is nice to go to for a bit of ice cream or food and to walk a bit.
