Monkey's Tribe is an amazing and beautiful place where magical memories are made. It's a hostel, hotel, bed and breakfast, lounge, travel office and art gallery. Ask to see the panoramic murals of the countryside in room five. It's like sleeping on a mountaintop but without having to hike. 😊. The private rooms in the low season are $25, and the dorm beds in the low season are $10. In the high season (November-January) prices vary to match demand. There may be private catered events which usually mean amazing food and entertainment for hostel guests. Monkey's Tribe is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood of San Jose and all the best parts of San Jose are within walking.

*Google maps is currently about one block off ( Jan '15). The hostel is actually across the street from Fatima Church. Avenida 10a and Max Jimenez (a.k.a. Calle 45) in Los Yoses. Tell your taxi driver it is 300 meters south of Spoon restaurant in Los Yoses.
