Listen, this is a local joint. Don't dress fancy, but come expecting great food. The shrimp ceviche was awesome. Sea bass was really good Subtle, even when done blackened. Really great food! Seriously though, not fancy If you order wine, it'll be red or. Red. And it's good. Tasted very fresh.

Everything from the ceviche, sea bass to tuna was absolutely scrumptious. Friendly staff and locals always willing to engage in light and fun conversation. A place to to be missed in Quepos.

This restaurant is incredibly delicious and amazing! The seafood is very fresh and all the sides that come with it are fabulous. My boyfriend and I went twice within the span of two days. The staff is very friendly and personable. You can tell they care very much about customer service.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic! So good, my girlfriend and I had to go back even though we were only in Quepos for two days! We had the sea bass, the tuna, the calamari and the shrimp. Everything tasted so fresh and the sauces were incredible. Their desserts are also great. To top it all off the service is extremely friendly. Can not recommend this place enough!

Best dinner of our vacation. Quiet, friendly atmosphere. Everything was freshly prepared and you could taste it, even the fries. The garlic blackened fish was not the dry "blackened" spices I was expecting, more of a spicy garlic sauce, but it was excellent. Also the garlic sauce on the calamari also tastes great on the mashed potatoes.
Keep an eye on the sign on the wall for a live show. Lizards hide under the sign waiting for moths to get attracted to the ceiling light, then grab them when they land on the wall.

Americans beware! The food was ok but we were definitely taken advantage of as tourists. We made the trek to this restaurant based on reviews about reasonable prices for the area. There was nothing more than 5000 colones (10$) on the menu so we were happy to take the waiters suggestion of their daily special plate. We were SHOCKED when the waiter brought the bill and told us it was $97.00! He had charged us 25000 (50$) colones for the special of the day 5 TIMES MORE a than anything on the menu. He totally took advantage of the fact that the price was not published so there was nothing we could do. It was so obvious he knew what he was doing and was even sheepish as he dropped the bill on our table and ran away. We are used to eating out and would not have been surprised to pay this at s fine dining establishment that had table cloths and fine china ..this is not how this place is..it's basically a picnic table "soda" type diner. I can't get my money back but I hope to spare others by editing this review!

Came for lunch. The food was delicious. All seafood options we tried were excellent, fresh and super tasty. It is cash only place and not cheap (but still reasonable).

5 stars for the food and owner of restaurant who was very welcoming. Tried sea bass in shrimp sauce, shrimp in garlic and shrimp fried rice. All the dishes were very well done and worth the price.

2 star deducted for their dishonest employee who charged us more than fair amount. First he gave a check for 22,000 colones and after questioning the amount he corrected it to 16,000. I tried to pay by credit card and he said machine is not functioning. That's ok I can pay by cash. Gave him $40 and he gave back only 4000 colones. I realized only after I left that I should be given back 6000. Now thinking I guess he was lying about credit card not working as well.

Sad to see how a great eating experience can be ruined by such menial and petty acts.

One of the best restaurants we've eaten at during our trip and we've been to many . If you are seafood lover in particular (we are !!!) , you are in the right spot and will not be disappointed with the quality of food and prices! We had tuna 3 ways (amazing !!) and special trio with shrimp , baked mussels and lobster tail (sooo good!!). The owner is super nice and friendly, you can tell he cares about quality and customer service. Highly recommend if you are in the Manuel Antonio area !

This restaurant serving excellent quality seafood at reasonable prices. My husband and I had mixed ceviche, today's fish, tuna steak, banana flambe, chocolate souffle and two beer. Everything was well prepared, taste was amazing, portion was good enough, and staffs were super friendly. And we paid only 46USD in total! Today's fish and Tuna steak were 4,500 colon(around 8USD) each, and it is really a good deal considering food prices in Costa Rica in general. Highly recommended :)

Previous review is dead on. Great food and good prices, but the chocolate soufflé is to die for. Coming back tomorrow for two soufflés.
