Best authentic Costa Rican experience of our trip. This place is run by a Tico family who lives on site. They have everything fresh. There is no AC, no view of the beach, not even fans. The abuelita knits the table covers and there is a kid swinging in the hammock strung between the ripening plantains. The ceviche was by far the best food and the best value of any edible in CR. We also had the fish in lemon sauce based on others' recommendations and it was awesome.

Best cassado experience in Sámara. Well worth the extra 3-5 minute walk from the beach. Refrescas really good too, and some nice wildlife viewing the day we went.
