Our party of 6 enjoyed this meal more than any of the other restaurants in La Fortuna. Small place on the side of the road, but the server was quick and very sweet. The food was delicious, richly flavored, colorful and well cooked. We had tuna, garlic fish, casados, pasta, Gallo de picadillo and a pork loin, all cooked and seasoned perfectly. We would go back there over any of the other restaurants in town!

This Soda has great food. Plates are large and there is an open kitchen and you can see the women cooking your plate. Yes you have to wait 15 minutes but it’s worth it. If you go to a restaurant and get the meal in 3 min it isnt fresh.
Huge plates of rice and fresh salad and the a spicy pickled sauce delivered in a jar is great.
One thing I like about this place is they dont try and push you out to get more people into the restaurant. You can stay as long as you like. When I lived in Korea they would push you out to turn the table.
Very clean and the restrooms are spotless. A hidden gem.
I asked the cooks what they put in the rice to make it orange and they said Achote. And even showed me the spice. Perfect place for a good and hearty mealresponse / report this review -

Chicken soup was water and potatoes pretty much. I wouldn't go back. It also took 45 min at least to prepare.

Right next to the highway. Offers fast food, rice dishes, pasta and the typical casado. They take some time to prepare the food, so if you're really hungry, you're decision. We ordered fish and vegetable casados, they're really good. I liked their combination of chips and beans. Good food.

Came as a group. Took way too long to get water and drinks. Seafood pasta ordered had none of the seafood from the shells in it. Also the small meal was 1000 colones less than the full meal and barely anything was included. Don’t waste your time or money.

Loved it here! I had a typical wood fired chicken with beans and rice. I really liked that the wood smoke grill was just off the patio and brought a nice touch.
My chicken was cooked right with delicious spices. Staff was quick and friendly.

Pésimo, ni se embarquen viendo las fotos, ya que la comida ni se acerca a ellas.
De los 5 platos pedidos, ninguno fue bueno.
Las carnes están recalentadas y no saben a nada y no tienen nada, en la opción de casado, no tenían carne mechada ni pollo a la plancha, pedí chuleta y estaba seca sin sabor.
Una olla de carne, que no trae papa, la carne llena de grasa.
Una tortilla alineada sin la natilla de la foto, me imagino que no tenían.
El espagueti, malo y le faltó tiempo, ya que estaban casi crudos.
Los gallos, una sola opción, de bistec y no sabia a nada.
Los frescos era lo único con sabor, ya que eran de botella.
Y cero servicio al cliente, a la mesera le desborda las ganas de atender.
