La Perla Restaurant was an open air bar that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu offered both traditional Costa Rican dishes and burgers and salads. They also offer a variety of smoothies at the bar. The restaurant offers live music in the evenings and nights with different themes. The service was nice and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place for any meal.

Deliciousness here.
A great restaurant and one of the oldest here.
Diverse menu, up to date decor and this night a live band. The fish dishes were very fresh and so well prepared. Great service too, just know that in CR, they are going to take a little longer to get you your check.

Worst service in Costa Rica. Went on Friday night and i Iliterally had to chase the waiters to try to order. They kept saying "one moment" and completely ignored me. So a fourth time I got up and practically had to beg a waiter for a salad.

Great lively place. Good food and choices of 🍺! Live band from Montana - shame you have to travel 11 hours from the UK to listen to music you first heard 40yrs ago. We have moved on!

Great place after the renovation. Almost every day there is live music, the staff is both attentive and friendly, and the food tasty. We were 8 people and at the same time got our food, which is a super service. The prices are affordable and all prices on the menu are inclusive of tax and service tax.

We were there for a late lunch, only a few other customers. Heard the place was popular so gave it a try. Service was good, waiter was very friendly and helpful. Provided lots of useful local information.

Food was poor at best. Had the mushroom burger and taco salad. Burger was probably the worst I have ever had, not much beef, and no flavor. The salad was just lettuce and chili with taco chips!?

Way too pricey for what it was and where it is, expect North American prices here.

It is right on the corner of the main highway in this area. Literally 5 feet from the patio. Can't hear yourself think when a gravel truck goes by.

Had a great dinner and drinks. Charly Lopez band was playing CCR, Eagles, and other cover tunes. Awesome band.
