We enjoyed everything about our dining experience at La Forchetta. This is one of top restaurants in La Fortuna. We dined there twice during our one week. The customer service was excellent and the food was a taste of Italy. Brush up on your Spanish, because the owner will come out to chat it up with you to see if you liked his cooking, but he won't speak English. Bon Appetite!

This food is just amazing..it’s fine dining quality at very reasonable pricing. Just go there you will not regret it all of the food we had was 5+ star. Get the La Fortuna special ;-)

Very nice dinner. Our Waiter Mario was terrific and the Owner and his Son also came by to say "hello". Very fresh ingredients, nice wine selection, pizza authentic.

Ask for Mario. He's excellent and is really knowledgeable of his menu and makes great suggestions. He's very passionate about life and is funny and charming.
I took my girl on a trip and this was a great decision on coming here and sitting at Mario's table.
Great food and wine and MaRio hand made the Sangria. Come here, eat, drink, and be marry!

Perfect Italian food for reasonable prices. Even this restaurant would be in Europe would be on a high scale and not expectable to have such a high quality restaurant and perfect service in a small town in CR. Best and friendliest service i ever had in latin America.
