Beautifully situated in the rainforest but just a minute walk away from town. First we booked here because other hotels were full but we were very happy. Great breakfast! Next time I will book here right away:)

I love staying in here is peaceful and quiet, beside it has great prices and good installations. The breakfast is really good also.

Amazing value can't believe the price for what you get. Feels like it's in the rainforest but short walk into town. Lush vegetation and views surround the cabins.

I'm stunned by how low the cost is to stay here, because it's an incredible deal.
We had a small cabin tucked into the hills and it felt like we were secluded in the forest. It came with two large beds and enough room to really stretch out and relax. The front porch had chairs to sit in and try and catch a monkey or sloth out and about.
Even better, it's close enough to the town you can walk out and explore a pretty cool city. Very much enjoyed my stay!response / report this review -

Awesome place. We were a little sceptical after reading some other reviews, but this was really nice. Have good privacy from other units. Nice staff. Good breakfast. In the middle of town if you want to get something from the supermarket

Een hele leuke lodge in de jungle, paar minuutjes lopen naar het stadje van monteverde. Wij hadden huisje 31 het was een mooie ruime kamer. Meerdere dieren voor de lodge gezien waaronder een agouti veel verschillende vogels, eekhoorn, en 2 negenbandige gordeldieren ( in de avond) was geweldig!

Comfortable cabin, close to all the restaurants and shops, but totally surrounded by woodland. Excellent free breakfast included in the price. Photo is the view from the restaurant.

Superbe hotel , tres froid par contre la nuit. Faire attention au petites bestioles . Mais en général super beau. Super calme et petit déjeuner copieux. Je le recommande. Tout le monde est très serviable. La ville est juste à côté facilement à pied. Tout les restaurants à proximité.

Excellent place to stay, unfortunately the owner never smiles and always looks at you as if you were unwanted.. but forget that and you'll love the place.. la Fortuna is a beautiful town!

(Séjour fin novembre). Le lieu est très joli. Les chambres sont des cabanons en bois dans la forêt tropicale humide. Malheureusement l'isolation n'est pas à la hauteur, j'ai dormi avec pantalon, chaussettes et polaire, et malgré tout j'ai eu froid (la seule fois de tout mon séjour). On entend aussi nos voisins parler. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec la douche, il était impossible de régler l'eau. Sans toucher aux robinets, l'eau passait de brûlante à glacée, puis de glacée à brûlante, comme avec un chauffe eau d'il y a 30 ans ! Je ne met que 2 étoiles pour mon expérience, que tout le monde ne vit pas j'espère.
