Great crew in the shop! Board options whether you want to go play on your own or get some instruction. Grab your board and walk across rhe street to the beach where theres usually quite a few people there to surf. Beautiful town and beach. Expect to pay anywhere from 20$ up to 60$ depending on instruction or not and private lesson or group. Rashguard is a little extra but a must-have if you dont have your own.

Great first surfing experience thanks to our instructor David. Great beach, lots of waves to catch. Also got some lovely shots taken by Abraham. Best surf shop in town! Pura Vida!

We opted for surfing lessons with Iguana while in Tamarindo. Don't take the posted rates to seriously - you can negotiate a bit The instructors were very good and very patiently with the kids. Equipment was pretty good as well.

Surfboard rentals are good price as well as the quality of surfboards. They also provide tourists with adventure packages such as a zip line, horse back, river rafting, volcano mud bath pack, or something as simple as an ATV/snorkel or horseback /snorkel pack.

Fun, safe, easy going team. Lindsey (an American) helped us feel good about our experience and even offered ideas for food. The surf instructor Byron was easy going young man who helped us have fun. Ladies, I suggest wearing long shorts.
