Rained for two days can't blame them for that but the cabin we had leaked. Bathroom two once did water on the floor, the bedroom leaked all over one of the nasty beds same in the living room. They was plenty of holes on the screens which we pushed with bog roll and there was an accumulation of mould of the wooden walls.
The pool was fantastic with an unbelievable view. Food was nice.
We booked three nights but left after the second as the weather wasn't changing and we didnt enjoy staying there
To sum up, I would expect a place in a jungle environment to be a bit better prepared for wet weather, this place was not
Friendly staff, a nice pool, and clean, large cabins. I guess the trees have grown, so no sea views and (on the plus side) monkeys and birds. Path to beach currently washed away. Good restaurants nearby, and inhouse food is good.
Service was amazing and Friendly staff. My husband and I always enjoy the food here. This is oyr third year to Costa Rica and we come to Hotel Villas Gaia at least 2 times during our stay.
Excelent to left the city
Awesome
Great place to go if you need to relax
Nice place, and very helpful staff. A very good value in Costa Rica. I will come here again
Wow just wow I loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly !!!! The night tour to see the animals totally worth it. The food awsome. The hotel rooms you can hear the beautiful sound of nature ! I recommend going there. Do yourself a favor it's a family friendly enviroment !!!
First of, this is waaaay out in the middle of nowhere so don't come here expecting to use public transport. No question, you need a rental car to stay here.
I had intended to stay the remainder of my trip here but ended up cancelling because of the location and the room I was in was quite moldy..
I had reserved a studio (on the ground floor). Upon checking the mattresses it was covered in mold which the front desk attendant assured was a recent thing due to the last guests not opening the windows.
The grounds are beautiful and there is a pool on top of the hill which looks over a very picturesque landscape toward the ocean. I imagine if you stayed in one of the cabins you might have a better experience.
The hotel is currently opened and the place is wonderful.
great place!
