  I found Hotel La Amistad through an ex pat, while walking through downtown San Jose. After a visit to the hotel I booked the rest of my stay there. I can recommend them for their excellent service and outstanding value.

  Great local hotel, all inclusive drinks and dining can't be beat. it missing an elevator, the rooms are cozy.. clean.. great vakue hotel. only downside is its near a rail station, trains passing by often blaring the horn.. the sidewalks are all day dangerous, I guess it's all over San Jose. even the roads are uneven with major and deep potholes.. I sprung my ankle on my stay there.

  Best bang for your buck! Food is great. No charge for guests and the all inclusive deal is worth every dime. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
