This is a perfect stop for all travelers. Excellent for families with multiple beds in one room and great for adventurers looking to rest after exploring, hiking or biking near by. Its close to the public hospital and a short drive to the airport. You can walk to the grocery store from here, a cab to downtown is only $3 American. Very comfy rooms, with A/C, cable, and clean. Hotel Javy has the most accommodating and hard working staff that will ensure your stay is perfect. This is a very cost effective hotel and offers very generous meal portions of authentic home cooked food and fresh juices. I will return and encourage others to consider adding this hotel to your stay.
Dated but clean. Staff was very helpful and extremely nice!! In the inner city but they have the parking area behind wall. Breakfast was sufficient for days hike at Rincon Vieja. Our room had 5 beds?!
We only stayed one night before our flight home, but a good budget option in Liberia. Not the best location if you are without your own vehicle.
This is truly a special place. I had to book last minute due to an unforseen medical emergency and was treated like family. If you need a place to stay and want a true Guanacaste experience this is the place to stay.
Very pleasant, friendly, safe, and affordable hotel in northern Liberia. No pool, not fancy.
It's in town so little noisy and smelly but friendly, good food and easy to get to.
It's a quaint place nestled in Liberia. Very clean. Very friendly staff.
Hotel Javy is a charming, hospitable, family-owned/operated hotel. Isabel and Javier are likely some of the kindest people you will ever meet. The breakfast is incredible too! Not only do they provide a secure and clean environment, during our stay, some of the staff rescued 34 ducklings from across the street. They built an enclosed space for them until they could transport the ducklings to a wildlife conservation organization. Such caring and conscientious people! Highly recommend Hotel Javy!
A great place with a very warm family/staff. If you're one who usually stays in high end hotels, probably not for you, but for me and many others, a gem in the city. Javier and his mother were very kind and accommodating. My reservation had been lost, so they went to work and found me a room and got it ready (late at night) and served me fresh fruit while I waited. They generously discounted my room. Loved sitting by the man-made waterfall and "hut".
