Delightful spot with great views of the central valley and volcanoe. Spacious room with fridge, coffee, microwave. Dininig area looks out on bird feeders. Home cooked food was ample if a bit bland.
They can't help the potholed roads, but they do add time on the public roads

Lovely place to visit. The view is amazing and the staff are friendly and knows how to speak little English. The rooms are always clean with a little sense of feeling at home. Guayabo is definitely a home away from home. I certainly will give this place 5 ⭐ without hesitation. Wish to be back someday

Very nice lodge with beautiful garden and view to mountain and active volcano.
They have a great staff, Julia was a German receptionist and very helpful. I would definitely give them 5 star if it wasn't for room WiFi connection.

Excelente atención al cliente,quede admirado , satisfecho, con la habitación, col la alimentación,con el personal,con el aseo,con la tranquilidad,con los paisajes, recomendado cien por cien , su aspecto más fuerte : su administrador y personal ellos hacen la diferencia de otros lugares visitados.

We were there for one night and it was all fine.
Friendly people helpful friendly staff.
Good service,
But here it comes, the driveway belongs necessarily improved since the road looked like a dried up river bed and had to ride well so luckily we had a four-wheel drive slightly higher terrain SUV.

Thanks for the nice stay.

aber jetzt kommt's, die Zufahrt gehört unbedingt verbessert denn die Straße hat ausgesehen wie ein ausgetrocknetes Flußbett und war auch so zu befahren zum Glück hatten wir einen Allradgetriebenen etwas höheren geländegängigen SUV.

This place made my Costa Rican experience one of a kind. If it wasn't for Rik I don't think my experience at the hotel would have been the same. It really is a beautiful place with very helpful staff.
