We loved this place! We visited a few times, we sat on the swings and watched some live acts on the stage. We made good friends with the staff who were very friendly. The prices seemed very reasonable and the atmosphere was great!

Food is ok, service was pretty bad, it’s a tourist trap. There are dozens of restaurants in Puerto Viejo, ate at several during my stay and this was the only regret. It’s probably a fun bar in the evening, and the beer was cold, but I’d give it a pass.

So we get our breakfast, and eat it. Yum. A bit too much food though, we had to get takeaway boxes. Then the waitress comes back, and tells us that she had accidentally served us someone else's rice and beans, and tells us that we have to pay for it, in addition to the meal we actually ordered. Then they charged us for the takeaway boxes. She was snappy and mean about it. Not cool.

Nice place, nice staff, but they don't know the globe or maritime people. Don't let them try to talk you into lobster (barely a craw dad size) over prized and so very small. Food was pretty good that I had, red snapper, didn't seem to be cooked in coconut milk like stated but still tasty.

Fun place to start the night. Came out for open jam and played a few songs on drums with the house band. Had a blast but be warned; just because they said they know a song, doesn't make it true! I learned this as the singer mumbled gibberish all the way through "sweet home alabama".

Strong drinks. Dope cover band (started with a "T"). Calamari was a bit chewy, but the ceviche hit the spot!

Food was great and tasty. Service was a little slow even when they were not busy. We saw our food on the counter for ten minutes before it was delivered. Food was cool to cold. They could really pick up points if they speed up their service.

Really cool place, swings at the back of the bar and Canadian music. Music was a little loud to talk over but overall great place!
