Nice hostel in front of the street, the orners are so friendly. And have coffe free in you stay here.

Great place! A wonderful family will greet you here; all the coffee you can drink. The guy was super nice and let me park my car for free while I was up climbing Cerro Chirripo. If you're from a country he has not drawn a flag for he'll draw the flag of your country on his wall. I HIGHLY recommend this place, you will not go wrong. Price is super cheap too.

주인인 호세는 유쾌하고 친절하며 새로운 문화와 언어에 호기심이 많고 비주얼적 재능도 갖추고 있어 집안 곳곳에 그림을 많이 그려놓았습니다. 한국인 투숙객은 처음이라며 투숙객 국기를 그려 모은 벽에 마침내 이번에 태극기도 그려넣었네요. 주방에 있는 식탁 비닐 안에는 각 나라 지폐를 수집해 놓은 것을 전시 중인데 거기에 우리 돈 천원짜리도 끼우라고 기부했습니다.
주방을 맘대로 쓸 수 있어 요리 해먹기 좋습니다. 부지런한 호세가 늘 커피는 상시 준비해놓고 있고요. 전용 욕실이 있는 1호 방을 얻었는데, 다른 방이 옆에 없으니 방 앞으로 지나다니는 사람들이 없어 방해 받을 일이 전혀 없습니다. 방도 넓고 천장도 높고 욕실 물도 잘 나옵니다. 침대 매트리스도 딱딱해서 편하고, 추울 줄 알았는데 생각보다 따뜻하게 잘 잤습니다.
그런데 딱 두 가지가 아쉽습니다. 지역 특성 상 방에 습기가 많아 양말 하나라도 빨면 말릴 데가 없습니다. 그리고 와이파이가 방에서 되다 안 되다 합니다. 공용공간에서도 역시 되다 안 되다 합니다. 산속에서 늦은 오후부터는 특별히 할 일도 없는데 말입니다.
치리포 산 정상까지 트래킹할 게 아니면, 천연온천수가 나오는 탕(Aguas Termales
- Gevi: US $7)에도 가고 Cloud Bridge에 가서 멋진 폭포들을 구경하면서 왕복 3시간 정도 코스로 등산도 해보세요. 오며 가며 가게도 지나게 되니 먹거리도 사와 호세네서 식사하세요.
여러 가지를 돌아봤을 때 가격대비 훌륭한 숙소라고 생각합니다. 추천합니다.response / report this review -

So many things I loved about this place; Jose, the owner is an amazing guy who has a passion for the place, the decorations are beautiful, the terrace is a great place to hang out and have a chat with Jose or other travellers, there's a shuttle to the start of the chirippo hike at 5. And it's the cheapest you will get in town :)

Really nice hostel and there is a shuttle going to the cerro chirripo at 5AM. I hope you have the chance to meet with José when you get at that hostel! Really friendly! Dont hesitate to ask for some tips as he has some for you ;)

Jose is awesome. Great room and use of kitchen from 7am to 7pm. Definitely recommend.

Very nice place! We had a great time there! Our host, jose, was very helpful and gave us plenty of tips to get around the place! He even organised our hike to cerro chirripo!
