Manuel the cook. The customer service is BUENO! After he made us delicious food, he came out and just chatted with us. His English was not fluent but understandable. He also gave us free tourist attractions to check out. Very hospitable and the food was very good and fresh. Pura Vida Manuel.

Our waiter, David, made the best drinks we have ever had. The mojitos were delicious. Additionally he gave great recommendations on food and we ordered the whole fish. It was fantastic. Nice little soda cafe off the road that we did not expect to be so delicious.

Great little spot. Good for snacks and coffee. Would come again. Not huge portions but good for a meal. Fair prices. Has wifi. Attracts the tourist crowd. Love the pineapples on display.

Wonderful little family run place, with great grilled meats and fish. We recommend the mixed grill plate that could feed 3 or 4 people.

Small family restaurant with amazing food, literally grandmas food. The service is great, always smiling like everyone in this beautiful country Costa Rica. The rice with seafood is so fresh and tasty typical from this country, the same with rice and chicken, my wife loves the whole fired fish with French fries. Everything here is super fresh and tasty, you won’t be disappointed.

A small restaurant with outdoor seating and some really tasty food! The cook/owner was a very friendly man who was upbeat and smiling the entire time. The food tasted great!

The only reason for the docked star was the fact that by the time I had gotten to the inner parts of my chicken meal, there some slightly uncooked parts of the chicken with some still fluid blood near the bone.

I’m probably a little too cautious, and I didn’t want to have to mess with salmonella, and fortunately I didn’t have to. The food was great, didn’t have any problems afterwards, and I still felt great. So I obviously didn’t get anything from the uncooked parts, but I would have get just slightly more comfortable had it been just slightly more done.

Either way, I would totally eat here again, I would just make sure to mention my preferences for the thoroughness of how I like the meat to be cooked.

A great place for local food. The typical plate was good and the fresh made juices were excellent. Service was friendly and the prices reasonable.
