Truly a jewel in downtown San José, this repurposed old house offers some really cool experiences if you are interested in music, books, clothing/accesories and photography.
From the outside, the tiny sign might not seem much but it only takes a quick look inside to know you need to walk in and browse the wares.
The book selection is far from mainstream and quite extensive. Likewise, the available vinyl is top notch (priced accordingly and I must say, fairly, for what you get).
Clothing and accessories are mostly premium pre-owned and brought from Europe. The stock is carefully selected and reasonably priced (therefore the "vintage" part of the name)
The backroom has a selection of books and photography in display, which you should definitely take a look at.
Overall, you get a huge experience for such a tiny place.

Its great to find a store like this in Costa Rica. It really is one of a kind. This is no "americana" because they hand pick what they sell, not bought in bulk. It's also a real vintage clothing store, not just by name.

But if you're a book person like me, you'll come for the books. They emphasize a quality over quantity retail style which is very rare in retail. When I visit Costa Rica again, I will make time to visit here twice!
