I used this gym while in Escazu for dental work. At $12 a day, it was pricey, but very clean with lots of different equipment. The people (staff and gym members) we're super helpful and friendly

Not bad. Management and staff are very uptight, but if you play nice, there shouldn't be a problem. Equipment is OK- second tier quality, but well maintained and CLEAN. Another complain about management: they don't honor the fees on the pricelist. It clearly states $X but when you go to pay them, they charge more than what is listed. They rip off north americans, which is offensive to me, so you might want to try World Gym or Multispa- both are much better gyms.
