The Tinamaste Feria is a major plus in the area. It is a great template to achieve an economically viable, sustainable way of living in rural areas worldwide.

Must visit if in Tinamaste. Grab some tamales and fruits/veggies. A mix of local and gringos. Enjoyed my time there.

Once a week there is a farmer's market here. People come mostly to socialize and its a great place to meet the community. They sell organic products. The best time to come is early in the morning as supplies are limited. They have amazing pure organic honey. You have to pay 200 colones to use the rest room so keep that in mind.
