  The train from San Jose to Cartago is a unique experience. For C550 ($1) you get a ride between the two cities on the narrow gauge railway that is at times a bit rollicking in cars that are sometimes a bit packed. You get to meet Ticos doing their everyday routines. Not for everyone but we had a lot of fun.
  The station has a platform with a canopy and a wicket you can buy tickets. Nothing exciting but it does the job.

  Muy desordenado el arribo y el abordaje de los trenes, la ley del mas fuerte impera, si va a tomar tren la lógica es empujar

  mal was anderes, als immer nur Bus fahren. Macht Spaß mit der Bahn nach San Jose oder aber in die Gegenrichtung zu fahren. Preis ist OK
