Cerca de la playa. Es limpio, con buena ventilación. Pero, cobran excesivamente por la habitación y cierto.personal de la recepción es poco amable.

Chivisima el hotel, la comida es una mierda Pero el hotel es un chuzo, un poco alejado de todo pero no deja de ser chiva!
The hotel is amazing, the food is terrible yet the Hotel is amazing, a bit far from everything but still at good walking distance from food places.

During our 2 week trip to Costa Rica, we decided to explorer Santa Teresa beach for the first 5 days and blindly booked our accommodations at Esencia. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!! our VIlla was so spacious and clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the property itself is beautiful and right across the street from the beach path, but my favorite part was that we were visited by the howler monkeys every day and sometimes several times a day. This was particularly special to me because during our 5 day stay we met a lot of tourist that heard the monkeys but they had not seen them or could not see them so high up in the trees. At Esencia, the monkeys loved hanging out at the trees by the pool and it was fantastic to watch them interact sipping a cocktail from our hammock or in the pool. We cannot wait till our next trip to Costa Rica because we will definitely return Esencia Hotel & Villas.
