This is a pretty cool place to stay while in Uvita. The location is great, just a quick walk down a quiet road to get to the enormous beach. Markus was very kind and attentive to our group, twice he cut up some fresh aloe for those with sun burns. The fresh fruit at the breakfast is always delicious, and the fresh coffee every morning is very appreciated. The rooms are not typical hotel rooms, feels kind of like sleeping in a tree house (but with power plugs for the fans and your phone charger). I enjoyed the open concept to the rooms and found the night noises rather soothing, but I can see how it may not be for everyone. There is a small supermarket just down the road to pick up cold beers to enjoy while at the beach.

Really nice to stay. It's in the middle of the forest and 5 minutes walking from the beach. Breakfast amazing! If you come to Uvita you should stay here

This is an ok pace to stay for the price. We had room 7, which was a clean, basic upstairs unit with a clean and new mattress, but not very private, and with a few other caviates. We liked the location near the beach, the included breakfast, and the fan in our room (Uvita is HOT in February)

    Only a few small compaints:

The first thing i noticed when i layed down on the brand new springy mattress, was that all the towels and sheets smelled strongly of soap and felt waxy as though they had been washed, but not rinsed. We asked for a new set, which they gracefully provided, but it was only slightly less soapy.

There was no mosquito net over the bed, and the room surely had a few biters. Fortunately we brought our own net and rigged it up.

The shared bathroom was clean, new and nice, but anytime somebody downstairs turned on the sink or shower, the water pressure was reduced to a drip droppy drizzle. This was annoying to say the least (especially when you just applied a hefty amount of shampoo)

The other problem with the shared bathroom was that the only other (semi-exposed) toilet was at the reception building down the stairs and 50 meters away.

This room, it should be noted, is only partially private. The wall dividing it from the neighboring room goes up about 7-8 feet (just over 2 meters) leaving no barrier for light or sound between rooms. Fortunately, we had conscientious neighbors who were quiet and turned off the light at 10 pm, but it could have been bad with less polite neighbors or for light sleepers

I would only stay here again if some of the other more affordable nearby accommodations were already booked.

    Excursions disponibles selon tarifs.

Ricardo is a great host and the place is a peacefull and quiet place in nature. You shoudn't be afraid of bats if you go there. I found them entertaining.
