  This restaurant used to be a favourite of mine, a must for every trip to the beach. I went back recently, and came away very dissapointed with every aspect of my meal. My Red Snapper was 8000 colones and had only 6 mouthfuls of edible meat. All of which was overcooked! My friends were similarly dissapointed with their meals. The new decor is very nice but that's about the only positive about the experience. Over priced and quality lacking. I preferred it's old rustic charm, when the food was clearly the priority.

  Very good place, prices are good best seafood better than any other place. service is great $’s similar to los Sueños restaurants the only difference at pelicano the food is much better. Chef is #1

  Great local food with great service. The atmosphere was perfect, even a little romantic. Even though I don't speak Spanish, the servers went out of their way to make our night a great one. I would definitely return when we go back to Costa Rica next time!

  Excellent restaurant that is across the street from the beach. Very nice staff, full bar and plenty of beer choices including American beer. Try the ice tea! Portions are large and prices are very reasonable. The sunset was just amazing!

  Incredible food right on the beach. Don't let the outside fool you, this place is legit. The fish ceviche is absolutely divine. I also had the seafood cream soup and the mariscado. I especially loved the grilled lobster tail on the mariscado plate. My husband had the sea bass with cheese sauce. So, so good. You won't regret it.

  Good restaurant with lots of seafood options. Salad and vegetable buffett with lunch choices. Indoor seating area with AC. Cocktails are available. Beautiful view of the beach. Outdoor patio seating available as well.

  I have eaten here twice, both times bringing our catch from the boat and they prepared it beautifully, the staff is professional and courteous.
