  Amazingly enough, this is a place where 500 years of pre-columbian ethnic culture still lives and is kept alive by descendants of indigenous people. Handmade one-of-a-kind clay sculptures and musical artifacts like the one I've seen at Princeton and the NY Museum of Natural History are made still there in small quantities. Hard to find but well worthy as you may take home something really unique.
