  My boyfriend and I just did the night walk last night with Jose and had such a wonderful time! It was amazing to see all of the amazing creature of the night and I was so impressed with how much Jose New, and could spot at night! We indulged in the included empanadas as well as the extra dinner and it was so delicious!!! You’ve gotta try this tour !

  Had two tours in June 2017 with the wonderful Jose - night walk and bird watching. Jose is such a warm and friendly person (so are his wife and children who I was lucky enough to meet as well) and I really enjoyed all the hours I spent searching for night critters and birds. Highlight was finding the red eyed tree frogJose breeds then so you are sure to see one. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes it a bit rustic. I also felt great supporting Jose and his effort to build this garden himself with lots of love and sweat equity. I'll definitely look him up for another tour if I make it back to Arenal.

  American traveler. Do this tour. It is amazing. You will be in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle and feel so at ease. The pics I posted are the pics the guide took with my phone on the tour. They picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. At the end the feed you amazing food.

  We had an amazing and unforgettable experience. This tour is La Fortunas hidden gem and definately a tour anyone visiting this area should take. We wish we had found this tour company and Jose on the first day of our trip, and we'd have done all the tours he offers. The night walk tour was exactly what we were looking for as nature lovers and I can't say enough good things about our experience, we enjoyed it so much. This tour company and Jose (the owner) is a phone number that I've saved on my phone now, because we will certainly do this tour again in the future when we visit.
  Jose's knowledge of the wildlife and hospitality was amazing. We felt welcome from the very first moment we met him.
  If I could give a hundred star rating I would. A must do and must see tour for anyone visiting La Fortuna.
