Food isn’t great. Service was good. Unfortunately there was a band playing while we were there and they were way too loud. Not ideal!
Very welcoming atmosphere in the center of town, extra fun during live music on Wednesday night & Saturday afternoon, it's common to see folks outside dancing!
Drinks & snacks are well priced & the service is attentive, highly recommend!
After one week here we keep coming back
Great mexican food, good service, not too pricey 🌮🌯😁
Cold beer and good music Saturday afternoons
I loved my food and the area. I highly recommend the chimighangas..
Good food and they had live music on Tuesday night, Wednesday was trivia.
Live music and trivia nights are my favorites
The food is good although heavily overpriced but the service was shameful.
I asked for extra guacamole and the waitress said 2$ but later I discovered 3$ (+1$ tax & service) on the bill. When I pointed it out to her she made up a story that it's apparently 4$ and she is giving it to me for just 3$ - lying right into my face. It's really not about the $ but her response was so prompt that I'm sure they play these tricks to tourists all the time.
The food here was terrific. The nachos were amazing and so was the Arroz con pollo. The margaritas were a nice addition as well! To add to that, my family loved the Mahi Mahi special and the banana pancakes. After staying in Costa Rica 9 days, I can say this was among the top two places we ate!
Nice little spot. They were friendly and accommodated my wife and I, both of us being vegan. The gazpacho was flavorful and the vegetable bean and rice plate was very nice, especially the fried plantains.
Dos Locos serves mexican and american style food, mostly catering to the tourist market. They host a trivia night on Thursdays and have live music Wednesday nights and Saturday afternoons. These events draw a crowd of retired expats and locals.
