Fantastic stay, clean and well appointed self-catering cabin. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable on their subject matter, and very accommodating. The local restaurants recommendations were on point. A great stop between the two costs.

Incredible guided tour into the cloud forest. A diamond in the rough with the expertise of Brian there is really no experience to compare it to. He is extremely well versed in the fauna and flora. Truly one of a kind. Sincere thanks to Brian and Aura for their work on the research center and hospitality. If you have an interest in amphibians or just an interest in an unique experience of the primary cloud forest this is a MUST do.

Brian took us on a 3 hour night hike through this old growth forest in the driest time of the season and we still saw 50+ amphibians of at least 11 different species. The most impressive biological experience we experience on our whole trip. $80 per person including lodging (nice B&B) was a steal but book ahead!
