This is a great park to visit for the more adventurous travellers. Raw and pure with a couple of picturesque waterfalls. Few tourists actually make it to the park so you can walk for quite a long time without actually seeing other people. A lot of birds and wildlife if you know where to look.
Beware! the access road is only really accessible by 4X4 and can be challenging when it's raining (or right after a tropical shower). But it's all worth it. Definitely put this on your list to visit!response / report this review -

Nice Reserve with some hiking trails. The beginning of the trail is very hard and steep but after 300 meters everything is easy to do.

This place is amazing a lot many species the flora and fauna in a place very close the town the San Gerardo de Rivas just a few kilometers the San Isidro the Pérez Zeledón.

She had a wonderful two days hiking here. It’s a wonderful forest with many trails. We went off season so the trails crossing the river were risky and I wouldn’t recommend it for those without safety ropes, if you fall into the current it is certain death. The forest paths are well marked out and there are walking sticks and a information hut at the entrance, we just helped ourselves to a sick. Fauna was in abundance but wildlife is well hidden. The memorial garden is a must see.

Une réserve magnifique, au plus proche de la forêt et des torrents. Un peu d'aventure aussi puisque nous avons traversé une rivière en enlevant les chaussures, l'eau fraîche était vivifiante ! Cela donne un peu de force pour monter jusqu'au point de vue final, au Vulture Rock, un belle ascension pour une vue qui se mérite.
Peut être le parc le plus agréable que nous ayons fait, mais aussi le plus dur : 4h30 pour faire l'ensemble des chemins, un vrai bonheur !response / report this review -

치리포산 등반은 정상까지 가려면 8-10시간 걸려 산장에서 숙박을 해야 한다고 했는데 예약이 다음 달까지 다 찼다고 해서 포기했습니다. 대신 '구름다리'라는 이름의 이곳을 트레킹했는데, 개인 사유지인지 그냥 기부금만 받네요. 대나무를 꺾어 만든 지팡이들을 빌려가라고 모아놓았는데 폭포 있는 데로 돌아갈 거면 산세도 조금 깊고 많이 미끄러워서 지팡이는 필수입니다. 폭포가 물살도 세고 멋져서 전망대마다 들릴 만합니다. 가다 보면 곳곳에 꽃들도 피어 있습니다. 짧게 빙 둘러오는 코스는 쉬엄쉬엄 사진도 찍고 쉬고 해도 3시간이면 돌아오는데, 거기서부터 다리를 하나 건너 산으로 더 올라가면 4~5시간 걸린다고 합니다. 그런데 가는 길에 강을 하나 건너야 하는데 흔들다리를 누가 돌돌 말아놓았습니다. 그 쪽으로 목장이 하나 있는데 거기서 그랬는지 아무도 알지 못합니다. 얕아서 신발을 벗고 그냥 건널까 했지만 물살이 너무 세서 그냥 안전을 위해 돌아왔습니다. 기부금을 받는 입구에서도 그에 대해 알지 못하는 것 같습니다. 아주 힘들지도 않고 너무 산책같이 쉽지만도 않은 적당한 트레킹 코스로 경치도 좋고 아기자기 볼 게 많아 재미있습니다. 강력 추천합니다.
