Coffee and ice cream where great, staff was great!
Good service and nice chocolate. decent ice cream.
The prices were a bit more than what I’d expect, simply compared to other chocolate shops around the world, but the chocolates themselves tasted amazing!
The location is super easy to find and is nestled in right in the town square area. Of all the choices of chocolate available, our favorites were the small bite sized ones.
We got a small bag of various flavored and enjoyed the mixed lot of them!
The chocolate was good but expensive and they didn't have coffee at the time, which was the main reason we went there. The person helping us at the counter was extremely friendly and gave us a lot of information about the area, including a nearby free hot spring. Thank you!!
It's now called Chocolateria. Must've changed hands. Our experience was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and the dragonfruit ice cream is a must! Conversion Rate is better than most small businesses in La Fortuna.
I ordered about a dollars worth of chocolate it costs over $6. Half of the things that I ordered, after I got home did not taste anything like what they said they were. I was very disappointed and in the end honestly, I had the taste of dirt in my mouth. I felt like I dropped my chocolate on the ground and ate it from there, very disappointed I thought Costa Rica was known for chocolate.
Gran variedad en chocolates de elaboración casera, con semillas, frutas y licores. La mayoría se encuentra en presentación de chocolate con leche, blanco u oscuro.
AMAZING chocolate. We tried a few different ones. The owner is really nice and friendly. We would love to see them add a few tables to have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the chocolate in the shop!
We've had a few different chocolates from here and are bringing back the organic chocolate bars as our souvenirs this trip, $5 each. Original Chocolatier in Fortuna. Great staff, huge selection. Can't wait to go again for ice cream later today!
